The fear of rushing through life

4.3.17

The first signs of age are showing on my face. It's not like that, I'm not that old yet, but still... that I am getting closer to my thirthies is visible. Photoshop can be my friend for some time, but sooner or later I will have to face the truth, look myself in the mirror and accept that we cannot be young forever. I cannot.

Is the time passing so fast scaring you? London is full of things to do, people to meet, opportunities to catch, but every day I feel like we are just rushing through life, like we are just going around avoiding traffic lights.

Time goes by so quickly and we are constantly fear of rushing and we buy beauty products that will do the magic (in our opinion), when we know we are actually are rushing.

Maybe, it's because I grew up in a small town and everything was happening really slow. We weren't like this generation of kids. Maybe that's why I feel life is going by too fast in a big city.

Well, I decided to be in that 'aging mood' and wear something a little more classic. I gave it a little French twist.

I am wearing this super chic blouse with beautiful statement sleeves and a black ribbon and this very comfortable pair of capri pants by Gamiss

I completed my outfit with my pair of black heels and fishnet tights.  I think a low ponytail suits this look perfectly, as well as a burgundy lip color.

  1. Beautiful outfit! The frills on the blouse are so pretty.
After reading this post I had to go see your "About" page cos I though you were 20 maybe 21.
I'm kinda scared how fast the time passes. There are so many things in life that I wanna do and see and sometimes I end up feeling like I won't have enough time for all of it. We should try to make the most of every day and enjoy it.
