"We took inspiration from sexy seductresses,” said Topshop Creative Director Kate Phelan. “Think Charlotte Rampling, or Kate Moss - it’s a celebration of these gorgeous, powerful women.” And what are they wearing? By day, the statement coat is key, with classic bikers re-imagined in metallic sheepskin and felted khaki. Come night, it’s all about ‘undressing’; double breasted blazers are undone to reveal bras and leather, fabrics become sheerer and dresses are slashed to reveal breastbones and thighs.
